ArrayIf I have them in my home, how will I know? Bed bugs like to hide where you sleep. If you find bites and suspect bed bugs, search around for them. You may not see the bugs themselves, but you might see tiny black dots (their droppings) or red smears, signs they’ve been biting you.
Pest control companies can also use whole room heat treatments. They bring in special equipment that heats up the room to a temperature of between 135 and 145 degrees Fahrenheit—high enough to kill bedbugs.
What you can do now ? If you have flea bites or bedbug bites, there are a few things you can do now: Monitor your bites for signs of infection or allergic reaction. Use a topical anti-itch cream to relieve inflammation and irritation. Call your doctor if your symptoms continue or get worse after a few weeks. Take steps to remove the fleas or bedbugs from your living space.
